Participants in the Kyoto Global Design Awards 2024 choose from seven available categories - Real Estate, Environment, Restaurants/Hotels/Bars, Trends (Fashion), Visual, Industry, and Theory - and submit their work/project.

The Kyoto Global Design Awards (KGDA) is an esteemed international design competition established in 2019. Its primary objective is to acknowledge and honor exceptional designers worldwide. The competition consists of seven main categories: Visual, Real Estate, Environment, Restaurants/Hotels/Bars, Trends (Fashion), Industry, and Theory. Additionally, there is a special category called "Best 100", where nominees are exclusively selected by the KGDA's Committee and its media partners.
