New vision of the loft - International Design Competition

If you are an architect full of new ideas, if you have a passion for designing lofts full of light and creative spacial solutions which are environmental friendly – take part in our competition organized under the slogan New vision of the loft.

The competition is organized by the FAKRO Company – a global roof window manufacturer in cooperation with an European magazine for architects – A10. Design your innovative, creative and artistic vision of the loft using any of FAKRO products, including, obligatory, a minimum of two FDY-V U3 Duet proSky roof windows and one FGH-V P2 Gallery roof windows. We are waiting for the visualization of Your project, which will be evaluated by a professional jury.

Authors of the best projects will be awarded with:

1st place – 5 000 €
2nd place – 3 000 €
3rd place – 2 000 €

REQUIREMENTS

1. fill in the application form provided here (all spaces in the form are mandatory and must be filled)
2. prepare the participant's resume (CV)
3. prepare the visualisation of the architectural concept using FDY-V U3 Duet proSky roof windows and one FGH-V P2 Gallery roof windows (possible formats are pdf, jpg or tif (300dpi, format min. A4), maximum size – up to 100 megabytes
4. visualisation should be sent through the file hosting server here. After you sent the visualisation on the server the link which will be generated should be copied and sent to [email protected]
5. completed application form, the resume of a participant (CV) and visualization should be sent to [email protected]

CAD drawings of FAKRO roof windows are available on Archispace. Internet Explorer 7 (or higher) or Mozilla Firefox 2 (or higher) is required.
